Mukaila Senwele said ‘Ha!’ and died – Manager

As remains of comic musician, Mukaila Senwele, were buried in Ilorin on Saturday, his Stage Manager, Ibrahim Toyeeb, has spoken on his last moments on earth.

Toyeeb  said Senwele died on Friday after a live performance in Ilorin, saying  he  gave up the ghost after exclaiming ‘Ha!’.

In an interview with ROYAL NEWS, the manager said: “We eat and performed Asr prayers together. We all sat down together and suddenly around 5 pm, he said ‘Ha!’ and gave up. That was all and we quickly rushed him to the hospital but he was already dead before we got there.”

The late Ilorin-born singer, Mukaila Senwele, performed for Alhaji Moshood Pakata, who marked his birthday.

In the viral video, the late Senwele eulogised the celebrant whom he claimed was his school teacher and father.

“Before he died yesterday, he had earlier recorded two songs and I was the person who recorded him. We uploaded one yesterday (Friday) and we planned to upload the second record today (Saturday).

“He planned to return to Lagos today, unfortunately, the end has come for him”, Toyeeb said.
